Default What has hppened to mobile.blackberry.com?

Please Login to Remove!

I used to be able to go to mobile.blackberry.com and see applications, wallpapers, themes and such for download, but not anymore.

Does anyone know what has happened to the mobile site?

It still exists.
What happens when you try to go to it?
Are you using the BlackBerry Browser, and if so, what is your emulation mode set to?

This is what I am getting with either the "Internet Browser" or "Media Net".

It is as if I am browsing from my home PC.

I'd guess that your BB browser is set to emulate Internet Explorer. Switch it back to native mode.

OK, this is what I've got. Under Options-->Advanced Options-->Browser I have:

Default browser configuration:
Internet browser
Default MDS browser configuration:
Internet Browser

In the browser menu, when I launch the browser I have:

Select Mode - I cannot change that. There is no option to change this entry.
Page View

Under Options-->General Properties I have:
Default Browser: Internet Browser

I am running OS 4.5.0.81

Go to the browser icon, click options, Browser Configuration, Emulation Mode and set it for BlackBerry

If you click the trackball while blackberry emulation is highlighted, you don't see Openwave, MS IE, MS Pocket IE or Netscape?

Check again. At the top of that page is where you select which browser you're adjusting the options for. You can have 3 (possibly 4) browsers on your BB. Make sure you're adjusting the options for the browser that you're using to access mobile.blackberry.com.

Actually, I bet this is your problem. Set this to the Blackberry Browser unless you know how to switch browsers from within the browser.

Just for the sake of asking, since it hasn't been asked yet... do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan, or are you just using a "generic" data plan?

This is weird, suddenly it is working correctly. I didn't change a thing. Thanks for all of the replies.

One question, is Internet Browser and BB browser the same thing?

It is a BB plan. ATT won't let me have a generic plan once they figure out that I have a BB.
