Default I DLed a theme and loaded it* Major Problems

Please Login to Remove!

I downloaded a theme about a week ago on my phone,needless to say it somehow crashed my phone.Can someone tell me what happened?
I did finally get it deleted off and then rebooted and now its fine.I just cant seem to figure out what happened and why?
I am a little scared to put another theme on my phone now though b/c I am afraid it will happen again.
Any help would be great.Thanks

It came up with an error 523 reset message.Just a plain white screen.

Themes are written for use with certain OS's. You have to make sure your OS supports the theme you are installing.

You can find out your device OS by going to Options>About, it will appear like this: v4.x.x.xxx

Themes exported for your OS or lower should(will) work on your phone. Most themes (commercial or free) usually note what OS they were exported for.

I'm curious...what theme did you "attempt" to install?

I had the same issue with that darn FlowBerry theme!

I had installed a theme named Red Zen,it was off of a different site that I am also reg. with.

ok I also found the OS.It says v4.2.2.180.that looks right?

^^that looks right.

So you should make sure any theme you download is for OS 4.2+, and for your model 83xx.

Yeup most people will say Download for 4.2 typically
