I have a single server enviroment. Exchange 2007 sp1. Blackberry says it will not work with SP1 because professional is still 4.1.4. According to them 4.1.5 and 4.1.6 will work fine but not 4.1.4. Can anyone verify this? They have me going crazy with the different links.

i have blackberry professional 4.1.4 running on a single server with exchange 2007 sp1. no problems.

All in all, this is not the only nicety caused by this lack of SP for BPS
No rich content emails for folks on BPS.

they need to stop complicating things by having 2 product lines where they can simply make it one product, and differentiate with a licensing trick. like small BES did....

I also have Exchange 2007 SP1 working with BB Pro 4.1.4. The only problem I have had is that people have to update there Out Of Office Messages using OWA. It doesn't work if you do it using Outlook because of some bug in the BB Pro software. That bug was discovered 8 months ago and they haven't released any patches since then. Seems to me that they have unofficially abandonded the product.

i am not the email administrator but i know the issue you are talking about. the issue is actually an exchange issue and not a bb issue. are your clients using office 2003 or 2007? the issue stems from the fact that exchange 2007/office 2007 have an internal AND external out of office message. the reason you have to update using OWA is beacuse it will update the internal and external messages separating while an outlook 2003 client will not update correctly without a fix from microsoft. again, not the email admin here, but this should give you enough info to track down the fix.
