I don't think you have a choice. You get whatever color your carrier gives you.
Also... your name 'nexteldude' implies you're on Nextel. If so, then you won't be getting a 7290 at all.

Cingular is black, T-Mobile is "Steel" Blue I think they call it, more like a gun metal gray. The 7230 is Blue, is that what you are thinking of?

I was on nextel, but now Im switching, and I have 2 options. And yea, I was talking about steel blue.
