Default upgraded os - 2 issues (8300)

Please Login to Remove!

upgraded to 4.5.0.55(81) and have to issues:
1) voicemail _@ - i've seen several posts, but didn't find answer...is there an answer to this?

2) keyboard lock - used to hold the mute key and lock the keyboard...no longer works...have to go to the lock keyboard icon to lock it...how do i get the mute button to work again?

If you hold down the mute key it should put the BB in sleep mode. And if you turn off dial from home screen you can push the "K" to lock the keyboard.

dial from home is not turned off...prefer it that way...however, pressing the mute key does not work...trust me, tried it numerous times...

Did you just upgrade, I just checked mine and no problems. And did you try the battery pull.

upgraded about a month ago...voicemail issue there from day 1...i don't lock my homescreen but my wife locks hers...she told me about a week ago that the lock wasn't working...i tried hers and sure enough, no lockey...so for the hell of it, tried mine - no lockey either...

What the voice mail problem, didn't understand.

And the mute key is weird, just tried mine and it says "Entering standby mode press the mute key to agin to exit standby".

when you get a voicemail message the popup says you have a new voicemail _@...

could removing any CODs cause these issues - voice activated dialing, ptt?
