Default can this be done?

I have many Microsoft Word files containing my work and it would be very convenient for me to access them (don't need to modify) from my Curve (8330) which I have an 8GB card. Is there a program out there that can read Word documents in the correct format and can I use the Black Berry Desktop Manager program that came with the phone to transfer files?

The 4.5 OS comes with 'documents to go' which will allow you to do exactly what you are looking for. You'll need to register it to get access to the excel program.

Your options for access documents are either upgrade to OS 4.5 and use Docs to Go for free, or buy eOffice 4.5 (you can use the trial to see how it is) .. Docs to Go is free and very reliable.

To get your Documents on your BlackBerry just enable Mass Storage (from Options -> Media Card) and Copy and paste them all from your computer to you Media Card. (Docs to Go doesn't have a Desktop Manager Add-On)
