I'm sorry if this is beating a dead horse, but let's roll it over one more time. I know that songs dl'ed from Itunes won't copy to the SD card. If I burn them to a CD then rip them, will that get them to the SD card or not? Thanks for the info in advance!

Yes when you burn them to CD and rip them back you remove the DRM from the files.

To save a step, in the future you could consider looking to see if the music you want to buy is available from Amazon...they sell DRM-free MP3s.

iTunes also has some DRM-free music for sale, for an incremental increase in price.
