I briefly searched for this but it came back with a whole bunch of hits.

Can I use the backup function in DM and backup my 8700G (with 4.5.0.x) and then restore the options and settings to my 8820 (4.5.0.x) ?

... that should work.. just make sure to re-send your service books after you're done restoring...

There's no harm in resending Service Books if you feel you need to.

Just did the same exact move with my phones, the 8820 is solid but the only thing i miss the the wheel.
