I've been using missing sync for blackberry and it's good except that you can't use it to install programs

Pro's and con's on both, search the forum and form your own opinion. I use PM and it's OK. I have gone to using google sync and busymac to wirelessly sync my calendar. The only thing PM has left to do is sync my contacts and email. I also use Rexwireless ToDoMatrix and IdeaMatrix for my to do list and not the mac app. This also uses wireless syncing and they have a web site where you can view what is on your BB for those two apps.

I tried Pocket Mac and Missing Sync and to me the Missing Sync
has been more stable and reliable to sync my years worth of data.

Have you tried syncing your contacts with Address Book?

That may solve 1/2 of your issues there.

Now about syncing your Entourage contacts with the BB and vice versa - sorry, no help with that (I don't use Entourage on my iMac).

I have found the same. Missing Sync tends to be much more reliable than PocketMac. PocketMac would either error out or would just kinda hang while attempting to sync.

Missing Sync has its issues too, especially with tasks and the notes; and does have the occasional hiccup with the all important calendar and contacts. But the error rate is far lower than PocketMac in my experience.

I agree with the assessment that Missing Sync is more reliable than PocketMac. I recently switched to Missing Sync and have found it to be much less of a hassle in many respects, plus there tech support was reasonably prompt in responding to my initial sync issues. Add in the fact that the majority of posts on the Mac forum section of various websites are about PocketMac and NOT about Missing Sync and it seems like a slam dunk to me.

Still waiting for the RIM created Mac desktop software that is coming out in 2009 though.
