Bottom line: Root cause is your database is corputed. In my case it was my calendar on my bb. When I tried to edit some calendar entried it wouldn't save. Then when I got back from traveling on business I tried to sync and for the above error.
Solution:
1. open bb desktop mgr
2. select "backup and restore"
3. select advanced option
4. Find database not syncing (e.g. in my case calendar) and delete it.
5. close this menu, got back to main screen and select "synchronize".
6. Go into config sync. and have "oulook wins" set when resolving conflicts.
7. Then sync.
This should wipe out your local bb copy of outlook, bottom line this is corupted and you're going to lose it. I did find one post of someone calling T-mobile and emailing them their corupted database and sending it back less corpupted records. However, given time it takes to work with customer service in 5min I can manually load back my calendar entries.
Good luck.
