Default Bold Email Alert Light

Please Login to Remove!

I am having an intermittent problem with the red email alert light. Once in a while, it does not shut off after I have reviewed the new emails and left the email folder.

Anyone else seen this? Any thoughts/solutions?

Red flash for text messages as well. Are you displaying test msgs in your inbox so you know what is there?

I have heard this come up before with someone else, but not with the bold. Go through your profile and look at everything that has the LED indicator on and maybe something else is triggering it, such as Facebook mobile which may be in the downloads folder.

Yep, go through your profile and see if other apps utilize the light for things that are new. I had the same issue, and it took me awhile to figure out that GMail was causing the light to turn red when new messages came in. I turned that off, since I go through the BB inbox, and only use the GMail app on rare occasions.

Thanks for the insight. I'll take a look. May well be the gmail.
