Just downloaded it to my phone and tried it out driving from work. Its free and 100% amazing. It also has audio. I am very happy with it. There can't be anything better thats free right?

Wirelessly posted (Blackberry 7280)

The Garmin app is better, but you can't beat the price of amAze. I use it myself because the Garmin limit to one device is rediculous.

Also here in Italy runs flawlessly...it is amazing! IMHO nothing to do with Garmin...Amaze is free and for free you get accuracy, function and coverage mostly "pay per use" software don't have.

Ciao!

I used it in Toronto - works fine. GUI is tacky... and doesn't seem to support Blackberry soft-buttons?

I prefer my full featured Garmin GPS :(

I had the same problem at first, but fixed it: you need to go to settings>options>advanced options>applications>amAze>(then click the left button next to your roller ball)and hit "edit permissions" and set connections to "allow", Interactions to "allow" and user data to "allow".

My BB gives me the error message "Communication Problem", and I have no idea what is going on here.

Does Amaze have turn by turn audio navigation?

It does tell you audibly when to turn. The app itself has a demo navigation that you can play and it'll show you what to expect.

Yes it does but it doesn't give street names. Problem I have is when I'm driving down a road in a densley populated area where there is a street every 50 yards it says "take the next left" or "left turn in 50 yards" but the "next left" could be any one of 3 streets.

But it's free.

have you tried listening and viewing on map mode? On map mode it has an arrow pointing you in the right direction with a finish line flag...it moves as you move, very helpful, and lets you know visually if you are off course! when you are driving you cant really be reading the street names, it tells you what street you are on a the time if that counts.
