No problems for me!
I downloaded it this morning and although DM gave me some issues like saying it didnt need an upgrade. It found it though but never wanted to install it. SO i went into my app loader file and it did everything for me. So far so good! Faster OS, faster browsing and opening up apps are faster. And the Kicker! Battery life seems much improved!
But i have had trouble veiwing youtube vids, error keeps popping up. anyone else have this issue? ill post more if i notice anymore changes

Installed it with no problems, though I can't view youtube videos any more. I was able to do so in .81. I'm going to try a battery pull and retry it.
Overall everything does run a bit faster and battery life is improved.
Edit Update: Ok, I can confirm that a Battery Pull Does the trick. Try that!

i tried to update to this OS just after it first appeared, and had the same aggravating issue, so i waited for a thread just like this.
used the loader.exe file as metioned in the OP and the upgrade installed perfectly!
so i'm happy with the install, and hopefully ( as it is most desired) the speed when switching applications truly is improved!

Well, indeed it is faster. Everything is great and improved with this update except, viewing Youtube (error pops up saying unsupported) and old news but we all know that the volume issue is still as low as ever. I guess RIM doesnt care too much about the volume issue, maybe someday ......

What I'm seeing is slightly better starting memory about 11 MB vs. 10 MB under .102. Less of a memory leak - gets to 8 to 9 MB sustained versus 6 to 7 MB sustained under .102.
And the incoming/outgoing arrows seem more likely to be on the screen at the same time. Not sure if that means a faster data transfer, but things seem a bit snappier.

Almost a full day use,
Everything is running smoothly, snappier and apps loading faster too. I also deleted viigo because of the same issue blackbetty saw. Youtube works great now that I'm on it often I just did a battery pull but I'm sure most of you wont need to do that. overall great OS

Just did mine too - this is the first time I can think of in my history of many updates (8700 and 8320) where I noticed a real speed improvement, even after battery pulls and such. It really does seem faster.

After battling the Desktop Manager 4.7, (it didn't think I needed to upgrade) I was able to do the upgrade.
The only program I had a problem with was Qik. After the upgrade, Qik didn't work right. After deleting and reinstalling, it works fine.
Overall, the OS does seem to be faster. I tried loading it up with a bunch of open programs and the only time it started to lag was when I had 3 programs open then opened Viigo. THAT choked it! :D I was down to 600KB free. After closing the programs, I was back to 7.8MB free.

Do you need DM 4.7? I've got 4.6 installed and I'd rather not upgrade that if it's a pain.
