Wirelessly posted (blackberry storm)

Does the storm come with a screen protector out of the box?

It looks like there is one on the screen already but I don't want to try and peel it off just in case!

I hope so because I have some annoying scratches on mine

I have a few customers 9530 that have a screen protector already. I guess they do come with one installed. My 9500 came with one as well. It got scratched really good and I removed it and replaced with a better one from InvisaShield.

Thanks for letting me know.
I have seen quite a few references to invisishield now.
Where did you get yours from?

If you're debating wether or not to get the full body kit or just the screen protector, just go with the screen protector. But the screen protector is a MUST!

Does having a screen protector decrease the sensitivity of the screen and therefore the accuracy of movements/scrolling/typing?

At first I felt it very slightly (and I mean VERY SLIGHTLY) affected the touch reaction, but it's either gotten better or I'm now used to it (probably the latter), and it's fine.

Hmmm interesting... I have yet to remove the factory included screen piece, so I haven't had the opportunity to use the screen in its naked state. I sort of want to test out the bare screen, but don't want to get finger prints and sediments on it just to reapply a new screen protector.

I took off the factory clear plastic protector. First thing you will notice is it leaves the screen really, really sticky! ... Once you you get it oiled up with your finger oil and wipe it off all is well. I have to tell you that I prefer it without any protector. The screen feels great!

I bought a cheap diy acerb protector from the Vodafone shop and cut it to size following the instructions but the squeegie they included for getting out the bubbles had a sharp edge on it and scored two lines down the screen!
Ill have to go in tomorrow and give them a talking to!

Shame too because the rest of the screen is looking good and is really good

The Verizon version does not come with a screen protector... What it has is the shipping protector installed....

I got a Best Skin Ever for mine and it fits like a glove!!!!

There's another thread about invisible shield.
I installed and removed the screen protector from them because the film has a slight orange peel texture to it, and I didn't like that. Using naked screen now and liking it so far (although it does record every fingerprint you put on it...)
