Hi,

I have a bold, and someone said my phone might be running on the iphone data plan.

How can I find out fore sure, w/o phoning up rogers support about this?

If data is working on your bold, then its blackberry data. Otherwise your phone wouldn't be working.

You probably wont receive any emails or PIN if you're on the iPhone plan. So basically if you're data works (web/email/pin) then chances are you're on the BB data plan.

Just to be sure though you could login to rogers.com and check out your account information and which plan you're currently on.

I only use web access, haven't integrated email and I don't even know what PIN is yet!

Well why did someone think you're on the wrong data plan, and why don't you just call your carrier to verify?

Just call them. I was on the wrong data plan (iPhone Plan when I wanted the Blackberry Plan) and data worked. You just don't want to be surprised by a big bill if your Blackberry routed data through Blackberry servers and you aren't actually using your plan data.
