I installed it yesterday and tested it on my way home (in car). Half of my 50 minute commute is in 3G and the other half is in EDGE.
It took a bit to buffer and download album art etc but overall it worked great.
EXCEPT the part where Slacker played the current song as well as the next song--doh! I had to exit out of Slacker 3 times because it was playing 2 songs at the same time.
I have not had any issues with the program at all...works great for me. I have been able to cache 5 stations so far and can add upto 40 more.... seems to work without a problem so far!!!
So I'm not sure if it is a Vista OS issue or not but when I plugged the Bold into an XP machine the station loaders started working. I'll have to try another Vista machine to be sure. Thanks for all the suggestion! You guys and gals ROCK!
this product is not ready for prime time, I will never pay Ten bucks a month for a product that is causing me so much headache, I can't even get it to work. I deleted it and will not look back..
See ya Slacker.

whoever is still having trouble getting slacker to sync just make sure you are auto-enabling the mass storage. It is under options - memory. Everyone that I know was having the same problem and that worked for them.
I'm still having trouble with this. I have the right OS, the most recent slacker version, the loader, mass storage us enabled, the SD card is free and I've cached stations. They're marked cached in slacker and I am prompted for the password when I plug in the USB.
But nothing ever shows up in my cached stations. I'm missing something...do you actually have to play the station while connected via USB to get it to cache?
