Battery pull fixed it. It seems Viigo uses a fair amount of memory. I go back and forth between running a stripped down BB and a bloated one. I currently have a lot of apps, and with the holidays I haven't been on my normal routine, so things like preventive maintenance fall by the wayside. All is good now, and I like this version a lot. I will have to weed out some other apps. I will start a thread elsewhere to avoid a hijack.

Question

How is the memory management with this version? I had viigo when I had my curve and had to delete it due to the memory problems... I now have it on my Bold...

Thanks.

I tried installing it yesterday as the application has a lot of potential. Before I installed it I had 22MB free, after I installed it I dropped to 19MB then within an hour I dropped to 14MB. Deleted it and back to 22MB. This is the fastest memory eating application I have ever seen on a Blackberry to date. I keep waiting for this to be fixed. It seems to be hit and miss for some people as I see many comments that it does not impact memory while others, like me, say it is bad.

Thanks.. When I first had this on my curve, I had less memory to spare but with the Bold it hasn't really affected me much, at least not yet since I have more on-board memory to use.

anyone know about the Movie Listings for local area? I have been waiting and waiting with nothing. Is there another way to easily get local movie locations/times? - other than going to the Browser?

I installed Viigo about two weeks ago. Jury is still out on it. Would like to be able to follow scores of top ranked teams in football and basketball but can't seem to do that, only get schedules of conferences and scores. Used the Flight Search to follow my g/f flight and it was never correct even after updating.

Yes, i too have experianced the memory loss, it also makes my bb real sluggish.

It was on my phone for 30 mins before deleting it. Google Reader is the way to go, it dosent even take up any memory.

On another note, how do I check my memory available..sorry, im a noob

Just out curiosity, how do you know you experienced memory loss if you don't know how to check memory status?

go to options - status

I still think ESPN has the best free app for that function. I see Viigo's score site as a work in process.

I installed a program that simulates a battery pull every night, and that helps A LOT with memory issues. Quickpull.
