Default Alt+Tab where have you gone?

A BB keyboard shortcut I've always used is alt+tab ( + side button on 7250 or alt+back arrow on 8830) to jump between applications. I use this a ton while talking on the phone to retrieve an address then dig out and read from an e-mail or cutting and pasting between e-mail and address book. I've read through the Storm manual but I don't see any mention of this shortcut.

Can anyone enlighten me?

Press and hold the Menu key for a couple of seconds and the task switcher will pop up. Swipe to scroll until the app icon you want is visible, then touch and click that app's icon to switch to it.

Sometimes, press and hold on the Menu key doesn't work for me. I do a battery pull and it goes back to working correctly.

If holding the Menu key gives you problems, you can also program one of the convenience keys to be the Application Switcher.

Has anyone discovered a way to do a "soft reset" without having to always pull out the darn battery? I used to be able to perform a soft reset on my 8830 by pressing 3 keys.

Any suggestions?
