Default Video Problem. any ideas?

Please Login to Remove!

I added a few videos to my 8330, all in the format .mp4. I have a couple of 30 second videos, and a couple of full length movies. The 30 second ones play fine, the full length movies do not. It says its loading, and then "An error has occurred attempting to play media" and "error playing".

All of these videos worked in my 7250 so I know these are working video files.

Any idea?

You are loading to your media card? I am curious how you were able to load a full length video to the 7250.

Talking mp4 video settings

Hey, use these settings:

BlackBerry 83xx and 88xx Series

* Video Settings
o Video format: MPEG-4
o Video file extension: .AVI
o Resolution (4:3): 240x180
o Resolution (16:9): 320x180
o Video bitrate: 400 kbps
o Frames per second: 24
* Audio Settings
o Audio format: MP3
o Audio bitrate: 128 kbps
o Sample rate: 44 khz
o Channels: 2 (Stereo)

I've used these settings and have had no issues, even when I was on a 4.3 OS. These settings work great for iSquint for either small or full length dvd's.

Good luck,

BVaulx
