So I got the AT&T Bold the day it came out in the US. Ran 167 until about a month ago when I updated to 210. Everything was great until a week or so ago when I noticed that my "A" key wasn't working properly. Sometimes when I hit the A, nothing happens. Usually if I hit it again it will register. Other times when I hit the A, I get 2 a's on screen. Other times it is completely normal. It seems to occur more frequently in BB Messenger than say email. Also I typically soft reset my device every night and the problem seems more pronounced in the beginning of the day than at the end of the day.

Pretty weird and unfortunately not entirely repeatable. Starting to drive me a little nuts.

Otherwise 210 has been great.

Any ideas?

1. Do you carry it in your pocket?

1. Yes...but very carefully - no lint gets in there, etc

Note that physical key does not stick at all. It appears to be a software issue.

My guess is there is dirt or lint that is blocking a contact. Never a good idea to carry it in your pocket. Dirt and lint will be there no matter what you do or where you put it.

Might try blowing some "canned" air all around the keypad, especially around the stuck key(s).

Will give it a shot...I actually do that fairly often. I am incredibly anal and careful w/ the bold. Can't deal w/ the holster and I need to have it on me at all times so no other options.
