will an unlocked 9530 from, lets say, VZV be able to be set up on the BIS for a ATT account?

want to purchase the Telus version(then unlock it) and have everything BB work on it with a Rogers data plan.

anyone with it unlocked can you give me some feedback on if it works....

ie: BIS email, BB messenger, pin to pin, browsing etc.

if it does work how to do you get past the fact that it is asking for valid IMEI?

i also have the same problem. I got the Unlock code, but for some reason my phone only gives me the option, under email setup, BB Enterprise Server. I can't find the option of BIS email, messenger, etc, etc.
What can I do to fix the problem. Is is a software problem or what

Same problem here with unlocked Orange 8820. ATT says can't help.
