As a result of changes in my wife's work schedule, I have offered to take over our personal finances and paying the bills.

I am looking for the most efficient way to schedule upcoming bills for payment via online pay.

She has always sat down written the checks, did the envelopes, put the stamps and mailed them out. That was fine for her but in my way of thinking this is just so neanderthal.

I currently have my bank account synced with Microsoft Money which utilizes Windows Live and Hotmail. I am trying to get all of this coordinated but it seems to be more tedious than it needs to be?

If anyone has a better system or has had a good experience with similar software I am willing to listen.

Basically - I want to schedule my bills in the accounting program, receive notices on my BB when they are do - then log on when I need to and pay them.

I think I have finally figured out how to work it the way I want.

I have all the information put into ReQall. I can do this via website or via a telephone call. just announce what bill it is, the date due and amount then it saves it as a voice note and converts it to text.

It will then send me daily reminders of what is coming up. The ReQall Calender will then sync with my desktop calender.

Additionally, through ReQall I was able to set up an RSS feed which I can access through Google and Viigo which shows all upcoming items.

I am excited that I finally got all this synched the way I need cause my schedule is just freakin' hectic.

I dont understand why you dont just schedule re-ocurring taks or calendar enty reminders based on your bill due dates....?

The main reason is the default snooze on appointments is 30 min.

So if I set the appointment to remind me 1 week in advance, unlike Outlook where I can set the snooze, I can only put it for 30 minutes or acknowledge the appointment and get no more reminders.
