Unhappy Screen doesn't light when email arrives

Please Login to Remove!

After 2 minutes, the screen goes black. That is what I have it set for and is normal. But when I get email the phone vibrates, but the screen doesn't become lit up. It use to, and I didn't change anything. It lights up (Comes out of sleep) when I get a call. But not email, is there a setting that changed this?

The screen never lights upon receipt of an email. That's not a feature of the BB. Some 3rd party apps will enable this, though. There is a sticky in the Aftermarket Software forum for an app called BBLight. That will do it.

You know I do have a program called PeekatWho installed. But when I went to look at it, it isn't registered anymore. It seems since the last update to th.131 seems to knock a few program registration off. Now if I can only find that email with the registration code.... Thanks for your help...

Thanks, but I already paid the $10 for PeekaWho. I just went to mobihand.com and logged on. My purchase history was there with the serial number also. Now it is back to being registered and it is working like it is suppose to.

If peekatwho doesn't work out, definitely check bblight. doesn't use much memory and works flawlessly. and free...

Thanks, PeekaWho works fine, it is just when I upgrade the OS, it seems some= programs need to be re-registered.

I have always had to re-enter the reg codes for programs that require one after every OS upgrade. Other programs require my re-setting them up - like Viigo. Viigo is a great RSS reader and I use it every day, but it is a major PITA every time they send out an update or I do an OS upgrade.

That's just how it works.
