Is there any way to get the Blackberry device to do soft deletes (ie: move deleted items to the trash folder)? I can see my Lotus Notes trash folder, but it appears that if I delete messages on the Blackberry, it immediately deletes them. Any way to have it move them to the trash, instead, by default?

Nope, this is not possible. You can "file" it to the trash view and that will piut the email in your trash folder--BUT when you open the folder on BB, it shows you the message.

What version of Domino and BES are you using?

I have Domino 6.5 and BES 4.0.2 and deletions from BBerry moved the message in my inbox to the Trash folder in Notes. This only happens if in your BBerry inbox options are set to delete on handheld and inbox.
