Unhappy E-mail issue. help

Hey everyone,

I'm new here and this is my first blackberry, so any help would be appreciated.

I've been having an issue with my e-mail. Whenever I send an e-mail, I receive the same e-mail. Even when I send an e-mail from my gmail on my computer, I receive it on my phone. Is there a way to stop this? On my phone I had to resort to sending e-mails from the blackberry e-mail address to stop it, instead of using my preferred gmail account. This is getting very irritating. Can anyone help?

I'm also getting this message in my gmail after i send out an e-mail on my phone from my gmail account: "Your message was delivered to the recipient."

Handtius,

I had this same problem. The solution lies in creating a filter in the BIS account to block the duplicate messages to your phone. Below is a link to the Blackberry website that gives you a step-by-step procedure to correct the issue. Aight? ;)

Additionally, I had a little difficulty with this at first so here is a helpful link. At the bottom of that page is a list of various carriers. Select the one you are have wireless service through to access BIS and use your RIM email address and password to get in and establish the Gmail filter.

The link that XelhaBB sent is the correct article. Those are the steps that solve it. If that doesn't solve it, then you are not following it correctly. Pay attentiona nd follow each step correctly.
There is another alternative and that would be the gmail app, not sure if it is storm compatible...yet!
