Default Question about signal strength differences in two Curves

Please Login to Remove!

My wife and I both have 8330s, puchased the same day with the same carrier, and running the same software builds. So why is it that I can set the phones down side-by-side and hers will have a stronger signal than mine? (And I don't mean in terms of bars, but rather the level of data service - her phone may have a 1XEV signal while mine only has a 1X). Is this sort of variance normal, or might I have a bad antenna...?

Probably just turning off the phone with 1X signal and turning it back on will let it re-connect.

Can't say I've seen that much of a difference, are they both running the same OS?

Yes, same OS on both. A battery pull usually brings mine back to full strength, but I don't want to be doing that constantly.

Remember that you can also reset the device without having to do a battery pull. In many cases ALT+(right)CAPS+DEL works just as well.
