Default Best OS for battery life

Please Login to Remove!

I know everyone is getting different results but from doing a lot of reading it looks like people are having the best results so far with .216. Any input?

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

I am not using your device but if I may suggest, take a look at the Beta section you may already have your answer.

Thanks for the suggestion but there really is no definitive information over there either.

Each OS will have difference for battery life, but everyone will have different opinions about there battery life based on what apps they constantly run and how they use their phone.
the only way to truly find out is to load one for a week, then another and so on, until you find the one that works best for battery for the way YOU use the phone.

On .216, I would get a day to two days before recharging. I recently upgraded to .221 and I can barely get a day now without recharging. I may go back to .216.

I went back from 221 to 216 and then up to 224... 221 was the only OS that I downgraded back from, but it wasn't because of battery drain.

But, as per Midnight's post, specific OS's that seem to be reported by others as great for battery life, I find don't work for me. All I look for in a new OS is an officially released one (by any carrier). I wait a day or two for reports of serious problems and if they don't show up on the main OS version thread, then I'll upgrade to it and see for myself.
