Arrow Wi-Fi Memory Card

Anyone know if and how this works at the Storm? As i live in Norway, the unlimited-dataplan is way to expensive for a college-guy like me.. So i was wondering if i can buy a Wi-Fi memory card and shuve it in the Storm and use that on for a internett connection? If i can, anybody know how this would work on the storm?

Do i have to enable it somewhere? Do i have to do some other stuff? How do i choose what Wi-Fi connection i want to connect too?

I'm fairly confident this will NOT work.

Would be happy to be proven wrong though.

Ditto.

Most of those WiFi Mem cards are shipped with WinMobile drivers. RIM doesn't support them. There are no RIM drivers for this type of device. Besides that, the location of the mem card slot on the Storm is behind the metal case back. The metal cover would block WiFi signals. As well, it is questionable if the card would fit in the memslot. If you look at your case back there is a metal tab welded to it that would be in the way of a WiFi memcard.

With that said, I would like to be proven wrong too! It was posted on other forums that the CPU used on the storm does support WiFi and the rumor mill regarding the 9520 says there is going to be WiFi on the 9520. So, all that would be needed for our 9530's (hopefully) is a driver and perhaps a replacement non-metalic case back.
