I've had touch screens as my last 3 phones, and im so glad to finally have a Bold. The touch screen novelty wears off after a very short while.

I have been using the Bold since August (Rogers Wireless) and it has already been 9 months and I am starting to get the itch to try the Storm. Don't get me wrong, I love the Bold (lack of memory is a different story) I don't find it large, nor heavy, maybe I am just bored.
But with every one hear not giving the Storm 100% it almost makes me hesitant, but I guess as a second phone to switch back and forth should be just fine.

Cheers
i have had that issue i used to own an unlocked verizon storm worked nice but the touch screen on it and the OS being slow and thats with the upgraded os storm was just not doing the job i needed it to do in a smooth way. if you are used to feeling the keys you will not like the storm . the typeing on it will take a serious amount of work. the storm also would lag from screen to screen. hands down it looks nice but i ended up selling mine and i have a bold from ATT which is nice. but i am still using the 8300 curve during the work week and use my bold on my weekends.

Storm is heavy and the touch screen just does not work as well as iPhone. Takes more effort and touches to get things to work.. The Bold is much easier to use, camera is better, sound is better. I travel internationaly a lot and AT&T just seems to work better as well. Like the Storm look but the Bold just does it better.

Just a last note, by spending the extra £4.98/month that will give me access to the Blackberry Data Plan, this included the email browsing and data. so if I have that then I wont have to pay data charges for the Google maps for example because it is included in the blackberry data plan?

Cheers.
I bought my Bold off eBay. I then signed up for a Simplicity Tarrif with O2. For GBP20 a month, I get 600min, 1000texts, BIS and unlimited data. And I can cancel at any time - no contract. So you can get good value BIS deals in the UK if you shop around. (Before that I was on Vodafone and they were ripping me off - but I had added BIS to an exisiting contract - so they kind of screwed me).
