Default Quick 7100t bluetooth question... working with Acura TL ?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 2004 Acura TL that has bluetooth installed in the car. I was wondering what type of profile the car uses. I know and understand that the bluetooth on the 7100 is crippled to only headset profiles.

Has anyone tried this same combination and successful or am I just looking for a miracle for these two to work together... ?

I have a 2004 Acura TL. The bluetooth link between the TL and the 7100t works great. Make sure that you tell the 71001 that the TL is a trusted device or you will have to OK the link each time.

System works great. As soon as I get within 20 feet of the TL, the bluetooth connection is established.

Yes. I believe that I set the phone to discoverable prior to performing the linking operation from the TL. The TL must pair to the phone; not the other way around.

Yes, the phone must be in discovery mode to work when you are pairing the phone to the car.
