Whenever I'm in a composition window, whether it be IM, BBIM, or Email/SMS, I have an EN stuck in the upper-right corner. I'm sure this stands for ENGLISH for the input language, or the character set, but it wasn't there before..

I've also noticed, that instead of alt-enter locking the BB, it's now used to change languages or character sets. I'd like to disable this, as this is probably what caused my problem above..

Any thoughts?

if you want to disable input language selection shortcut, go to options, language, and change input language selection shortcut.

Thanks.. that disabled the Alt-Enter.. but I still have the annoying EN..

Mine has the same EN in upper right corner. I heard if you delete all languages except English using Desktop manager it will remove the EN. Didn't work for me. I just live with it.
