Default Last Free day with Storm

Please Login to Remove!

Well my 30 days is up this friday and my thoughts are its here to stay. I have had a couple of small thing s that I would like to see rectified. The freezing up with video recording and the typing lag.I can type faster than it can register and I type fairly slow. Thats it for now. I spoke to CS and they said to return it for another new 1 today to see if it does the same. I havent made up my mind though. What do you think? All else seems to be great. Thanks

Buckwheat - Have you attempted to upgrade your OS to one of the numerous betas? Lots of people are really enjoying their Storm after they use one of the available downloads. I was kind of having the same thoughts that you are now a week ago. But I took the plunge and downloaded the .114 beta and a hybrid to go along with it, and have been so much more impressed with the way my device works. No more lag time while typing, accelerometer is so much snappier, haven't had any freeze-ups in any application, and the new editing tool is a breeze to use.

Thanks for the info. I keep looking around in here to see what others are doing and saying about about the OS 's that are being downloaded and used and Im just waiting for the one that seems to be the one that people like the most and so far it seems like .99-.103 and now .114 hybrid. Sometimes it is a little confusing with all the info here. Just so many opinions and everybody has one on what they like their Storm to run or perform like.I'm new to the Blackberry and I know that I want mine to do what it is supposed to do.I do think that it is a great tool and does a remarkable job and I look forward to seeing what it can do when it gets the bugs worked out. I will be keeping it because I dont mind trying new things and having a challenge. I must say though there hasn't been anything that I cant deal with yet. Friday will be 30 days and I feel I am familiar with the way it runs and what I might want changed so I will try an OS upgrade and see what happens.Im not sure which one yet. Thanks,OTAY
