If the source files have build errors, the simulator will still start and it will be running the last good build - with no indication that the build had failed.

That support guy (at the BB dev forum) says there should be a pop up and I must have checked a box to not show the pop up, which I know I never did. He also says there is no way to reverse the setting to not show the pop up (who designed that feature?).

Could anyone tell me if they do get a pop up when you click to start the simulator and there are build errors.

By the way, I'm using version 1.0.0.67 of the plugin.

Are the errors don't show in the eclipse console? Probably you need to select "BlackBerry Builder Console" in the ChoiceField "Display Selected Console" which is next to "Clear Console", "Scroll Lock", "Pin Console", "Open Console",...

Thanks for the reply Snowkitty. The point is, that if the build fails, the plugin should not proceed to open the simulator.

Do you get a pop up if there are build errors?
(Not just errors in a console window.)
Does the simulator open for you, even if the build fails?
