hmmm I did do a seach... I understand that it's old news that Pandora works on most Blackberrys, but I didnt see a single thing that it works on the Storm. Guess I didnt seach hard enough...

well how about a frickin link??? I just got my storm last week and when I went to the site that shows the downloads of pandora, the storm was noticeably absent. Must you guys all be so frickin secretive? Isn't this a forum for HELPING people, rather than lording it over those who don't know EVERYTHING? Sheesh! How about a little HELP, folks??

it still doesnt show that its compatable with the storm yet, but I assure you it is. I got an email from them saying it works... and it does...

I guess it's really not "old news"...

Confirmed. I got a message from Pandora announcing that their Blackberry application now supports the Storm and Pearl Flip

Coincidentally I just got an email from Pandora, saying that if i go to the App World on my Storm I can search for Pandora. Well...I just tried it and came up empty. Has anyone found Pandora by searching from their Storm, using App World?? I tried it several times.

First impressions:

album art broken

can't remove overlay ad from screen like I can on Touch--anyone know how to remove ad from screen?

UPDATE: switching from landscape to portrait, allows me to remove the ad by clicking on the "x". clicking on "x" in landscape does nothing, at least in the 15 times I've tried.

In lieu of album art, I see a blue gradient where the art should be.

On the 7th song, I got some album art--McCartney. Unfortunately, in my location the music is interrupted by long periods of silence--worse than Slacker. I think if I was outside my home, the signal improvement would mitigate that issue (c'mon R.I.M, get a wifi enabled Storm to market)

FURTHER UPDATE: finally got ad to disappear in landscape mode by not centering fingertip on "x", but rather further down and to the right of the "x". YMMV.

Just as buggy (or buggier) than Slacker during playback via bluetooth (frequent bluetooth disconnects between songs, and infrequent stops in the middle of songs).

I got an email from Pandora yesterday. They mentioned that the BB version is using a low bandwidth option. No wonder sound quality is so poor.

In any event, it's no longer an issue for me...I returned our Storms today and got my trusty LG's put back in service. Problems solved with reboots, crashes, speakerphone option when answering in landscape...whew! Glad to be rid of all the headaches. I dunno how people put up with all the trouble. Then again, I'm hardly the only customer who has returned a Storm.
