Question Access Denied - Calendar Sync

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

This is an odd one. I have the BB 8310 and when I try to sync using DM 4.7 all is fine except for one thing, the calendar refuses to sync. The following error is what I get;

"Access to the current record is denied, Validate your permission to access the record"

When I check the sync log on DM 4.7 it says "internal error #4238"

What I have tried.
1) Totally diff computer with DM 4.7 and it only syncs 27 calendar entries (i have thousands)
2) Different sim card

None of these fixed this. So I think the problem is a setting on the phone.

Thx
Flye

Or is there a way to bypass DM and chuck it on manually? I'm happy to do that even

Do you have any attachments in your calendar apps? If so delete them, calendar appts are not supported.

Find a file called "Scan.PST" and use that to scan your Outlook PST file, you can search for "*.pst" to find your PST file.

If all the entries on the BlackBerry are you able to back it up via the Desktop Manager?

If so I would back up the whole calendar then clear the calendar and restore the backup.
