ive had my blackberry for months and this has been happening for months but i just barely got on this forum. the unread email folder icon is always showing with a 1 next to it without the red star on the homescreen... but i dont have any unread messages, period. none in the outbox, none saved, nothing. ive deleted messages, taken the battery out and it still doesnt fix it. how can i get rid of this? its annoying. thanks

when you go into each of those icons, messages, sms, saved... try scrolling UP instead of down

Press "U" while in the message list to get to the first unread message.

Check your Saved Messages folder.
