Default Being that visual voicemail is on it's way to the Bold... What about T-Mo?

Visual voice mail on my 8900 would make my life complete! What do you think guys, since it's just an impending software update?

T-Mobile will not be doing visual voicemail anytime soon.

Visual Voicemail is a carrier thing. I have heard from several sources that T-Mo has no intention currently to offer this. They are in a "wait and see" mode. That usually means 9-12 months, if it happens at all.

YouMail makes it work on any carrier.

I tried YouMail with T-Mobile, and I didn't like it. It was nowhere near as intuitive as the "real" Visual Voicemail offered by at&t, Sprint, and Verizon.

You said "T-Mobile isn't doing Visual Voicemail anytime soon", but they are. That constitutes an incorrect prejudgment on your part sir!

Color me shocked! All my sources said it wasn't happening. Hopefully it isn't a bogus leak and we'll see this sooner than later!

Listen, at the time I made my statement, it was accurate according to all available information. Therefore, it was not an incorrect prejudgement. So you sir, can go play in traffic. Thanks.

But please make sure you look left, right and then left again. Safety first!

Right.

It's all fun and games once someone gets hurt.

I play in traffic daily, its not all that its cracked up to be... I just with people would follow the Move Over Law... But I digress..

I will say that I am looking forward to this release from T-Mo... I too tried the solution from YouMail but it just wasn't as smooth as I wanted it to be, even with the new app for blackberry. (Probably my hang-up) Anyway.. I just hope they don't charge an outrage fee for it.

Just a word of caution on the VV:

We've seen Photoshopped roadmap charts before. Could be legit, or it could be a bogus hoax.

Also, these releases, even if legit, are subject to the whims of T-Mobile as far as scheduling is concerned. My friend (a TMO insider) rolled his eyes when he saw that release and doesn't think the timing will hold, even if it's real - which he still doubts.

I'd love for all of us doubters to be dead wrong, but only time will tell.
