Ok, here is my situation. I have two gmail accounts, one personal and one for work. The way I have things set up is the work gmail account forwards to my personal so that I can have all of my email in one little place. When I am on my computer and respond to emails it responds using the same email address that the message was sent to. The problem I am having is that when I reply to a work email from my Storm it sends from my personal email account rather than my work email account.

I downloaded the Gmail app for the Storm but it is not going smoothly yet. I have sent a few test emails yet new emails do not show up in the Gmail client for a very long time. I am not sure if the Gmail app will solve my problem yet or not because I have not received any new emails through it since downloading it.

Basically, my question is, is there any way for me to accomplish being able to respond to emails using the proper email address without using the Gmail app?

You don't need to forward your accounts to each other. Delete the forwarding option and enable pop forwarding option for each of your account and setup your account on your computer and on your blackberry separatly.
