Default New OS but with BES

Please Login to Remove!

Sorry for starting new thread on same subject involving new OS. But, I want to see if someone can help with receiving update if through enterrprise system. Our system does not automatically provide updates. Not sure if I can bypass. Thank you!

You should probably contact your IT department before updating their BlackBerry.

I'm on a BES at work (I'm the admin).

I downloaded the Desktop Manager and the update from the web and updated that way. When you set it up, it wants to talk to your local e-mail client, just click cancel to bypass that.

I agree with NJBlackBerry, talk with your IT people first.

Same problem here, with Mailstreet for BES so I am contacting them as to any upgrade. My upgrade via desktop manager would not go through.

Well, I actually went to verizon websit for blackberry updates and was able to download update and add through desktop manager. I had to reboot a couple of times as part of the set up but everything seems to be working great. Thanks for info!
