For the 8300, how do you change the carrier's name (mine's Rogers) that is displayed in the main display? It's a text field, but I can't find how to edit it in the various options. Thanks!

If what you are talking about is at the top of the screen along with the date/time and message/email counters, etc... you cannot change that. Whether or not it appears is a function of the theme. It is the carrier whose network your phone is currently using.

If it's the flash screen you see at startup and/or shutdown, that is burned into the firmware and is not (at least not easily) changed.

If it's something else, please provide more info.

Yes, it's the carrier name I want to erase. I am pretty sure I was able to do that when I first got the phone, but along the way one of the software upgrades reset it...

And Nokia's. Had to enter a numeric code into the phone 1st to access it though.
