Hey all here's one for you.

I've got a blackberry where the user deleted a memo. We're trying to recover it but need to figure this out properly.

The blackberry is on a BES and I'm pretty sure syncs regularly.

So pretty much, how do I recover this one file if it is actually backed up by the server?

I would check first on his outlook, under deleted items bin, if he is lucky enough, it will be there, if not then try recover deleted items in outlook.
