Default Help !!!!!!!!!!!

Please Login to Remove!

I lost my 8310 while riding my Harley so AT&T sent me a 8320 last week. It worked fine until yesterday. The battery was low, so I plugeed it into my car charger . When I went to get it from the car tis morning it wouldn't power on. the screen lights up for a few seconds then it goes black and the red L.E.D. light comes on. I figured the car charger was bad so I plugged it into the house charge . It has been plugged in all day with no change. What do I need to do ?

Do you have another battery you can try?

And do you have a backup?

I already tried another battery. I still have an old RAZR I can use to make calls, but I can't get on the internet with it.

Wirelessly posted

Remove the battery for about 30 minutes and then put it back in and see what happens.

I'll try that, I haven't pulled it out for that long yet. I'm seriously thinking of taking it back and getting an IPhone. Don't hate me.

If you plugged into a car charger, perhaps it didn't charge and the battery is dead. I know if my car isn't running, then the accessories (i.e cig lighter ports) aren't on either. Try plugging into a wall charger.

I tried taking the battery out for 30 minutes as suggested and still no change. It has been plugged into the house charger for about 20 hours now.

Take the phone back and say nothing about leaving it in the car and they should exchange the phone for another one. The phones they usualy give you are refurbished phones and there could have been a problem with the phone they gave you.

I am taking it back this afternoon. Just trying to decide if I want another 8310 so I can have GPS or maybe switching to Iphone. There are sooooo many more apps at Itunes then at the Blackberry apps store.

NEVER EVER leave your phone plugged into a car charger. Most car chargers do not have regulators in them to stop charging the battery, and if left for long periods it can fry the device.

The best policy is to never use a car charger period, but I know this isn't practical for everyone.

Get the bold Bro, it depends on what you use the phone for but if I had my wireless with AT&T I would have already had a Bold. The apps are nice but will you really use them all? also so if you have big fingers the Iphone is a pain to work.

Ride safe Bro

I'll look at the Bold. If I don'tget another 8310 or 8320, I have to wait a couple months before my plan is eligable for an upgrade. they did a free upgrade to the 8320 because it was so close to upgrade time, but to get the upgrade discount on any other device, I have to wait until the actual time.

I just got back from AT&T store. They don't carry the 8320 there. They said I would have to send it back for repair. So I took out the sim card and returned the broken unit. I can upgrade on June 22nd. So help me out, BB8900 or Iphone?
