I just got a Bold on Wednesday. I have checked my messages and it shows that everything is opened. However, the message indicator says that there's one message. I can't find it. Please help.

have you looked in all your folders? look in messages folder (icon looks like an envelope).

I looked in my folders. I will look again. Yes it's an envelope with a 1 next to it

Yes. You probably have a hidden mail folder with one email in it (probably the one for ). Most commonly, it's the activation message or something along those lines. I get it ocassionally when I resend service books or something along those lines.

This isn't a case of where you get a message counter for the missed call and one for the voicemail? You have to delete both messages for both counters to disappear.
