Okay thanks guys. Rambo47 you said they take forever to ship the stuff to you? About how long did it take before you received your objects in the mail?

Also JeredH could I get away with just ordering this? http://cnn.cn/shop/blackberry-curve-...ns-p-2390.html I mean if its just the screen that has a crack isn't that a new screen?

It took about 8 days! I ordered an black bezel for my old Bold that I'm no longer using (moved to Sprint). I also bought the tools for the job when I ordered the parts. Only added about $12 to the total cost.

I also recommend cnn.cn. Their stuff is quality.

And, isnt funny how spoiled we all have become when 8 days seems like forever to ship

For only $6, it's certainly worth a shot.

That is what I am thinking. Do you think I will need tools for the $6 one or does it not look like that one requires tools?

The lens is stuck to the front facia with glue, so *in theory* you can prize it off without taking the BB apart. The key will be being careful not to damage the facia. You will find the glue very adhesive. It took a fair amount of flexing of the case of my 8700 to get the lens off when it was disassembled. Even then you will have to make sure you remove all the surrounding glue, etc.

The problem I faced, as a perfectionist, is you very easily get dust between the screen and the lens, which can be quite annoying given most BB screens are white.
