Default BES 5.0 Web Desktop Manager

Please Login to Remove!

I've never used this feature before in BES 4.1--but I have a an icon linking to it in BES 5.0 now... When navigating to the link I am prompted for domain credentials, but I can't log in... Anything special I need to do to set this up?

Thx!

You might have known issue with the messed up ldap credentials.
Install the latest servicepack for bes 5.0, again set the ldap authentication password for the besadmin user in the contrl panel,
Then, try again to login.

im having an issue with this too. I can only log in with the bes admin account where it says 'no bb enabled' which is fair enough as there isnt.

Why cant i log in with my credentials, is it in any setup config?

Are you talking about BES Administration Service aka BAS or the BES Web Desktop Manager?

The Web Destkop 5.0 is used to replace the traditional 4.x Desktop Manager.

I'm pretty sure the BES Administrator through BAS would have to enable you as a Web Desktop user and allow you to access it via AD Credentials.

I'm new to BES 5.0 but learning ever so slowly.

Hope this helps.
