Red face Bb Help!

Please Login to Remove!

Hey there...I am new to this bb forum...
I bought a Bold 9000 and kind of having troubles with it...
i am not receiving my emails correctly, and my bbm is giving me a uncaught exception in java.lang etc.
I deleted the bbm, and trying to install it back but i unfortunately can't... i think because i don't have the mac desktop manager...
p.s. my bb is a 4.6...
any help...

desktop manager is not yet available for Mac, it is however due out soon -ish.
only thing you can do is find a PC, load desktop manager and an OS, and reload with bb messenger

also for the java error, try a battery pull.

The OS is the Operating System of the BlackBerry, which in your case is 4.6.something. There is a sticky thread at the top of the 9000 forum with a link to the latest version. You can use anybody's OS, so long as it's specifically for the 9000 model and you remember that important step of deleting the vendor.xml file.

You can definitely pull the battery for 30 seconds or more after deleting BBM. To get it back you have to completely reload the OS, remembering to check the box for BlackBerry Messenger under the apps to be installed.
