Has anyone ever experienced this? Once in a great while, my BB will act like it just received a new e-mail message, SMS, etc. It vibrates and the LED flashes red, but I can't find out what's causing it. After a while, the LED stops flashing.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Are you running weatherbug? - it does that when it gets urgent weather alerts by default.

Thanks for the reply. I have it installed, but I don't run it unless I'm actively checking weather. Should I expect this behavior even if it's not running (showing up in the active apps)? Thanks.

Yup, mine does! I never open it, it doesn't show as a running app yet strangely it knows the current temperature.
