Default Running out of memory

I have a Verizon 7750. I upgraded it to version 4.0 Right now I seem to be having more and more problems with the BB running really slow. It seems mostly when I am using the phone, trying to answer call waiting and or hanging up.

Right now my File free is 243,288 bytes
File Total is 12,515,376

The following is what is loaded on when I look under Applications
BBLight 1.0
BBToday 1.3.1
Blackberry 4.0 core Application 4.0
English UK language Support
Blackberry 4.0 System Software
Blackberry Attachment service
Browser
SSL/TLS Security Package
Java script package
Memo Pad
Password Keeper
Phone
Task

What can I safety delete? I thought that I read some were that with the 7750 you should keep 1 meg free to help speed things up..

Another question when I had version 3 on the handheld only my extra programs showed up under applications How come with version 4 all the extra programs show up?

Thanks

Tim

Delete what you don't use; you have English/UK support, which probably can go. Do you use Tasks? I deleted that one time. Look at the add-ons and non core applications.

Could you live without Password Keeper, BBLight or Today (a question only you can answer). CDMA BlackBerrys are very stingy with memory.
