Default IM+ Question

Please Login to Remove!

I've been looking at the various IM apps for the blackberry and IM+ has 99% of the features I need, but seems to me missing one feature that is keeping me from buying it.
Is there a way to have IM+ display a different icon for people connected to AIM using a mobile device like Ramble does? A few of the people I communicate with sign on from accounts which use SMS to transfer IM messages and I would like to be considerate of the fact that many of them pay for each incoming message.

No, it does not have that option.

On a side note, I would like an IM service to have the option to be able to only receive IM’s from users in my buddy list.

I sent emails enquiring about such options: “Is there a way to ONLY accept IM's from users in my buddy list? I don't want to receive IM's from anyone outside of my buddy list.”

Actually, our application hasn't such possibility. I suppose you can
do it directly on your PC, AIM saves this settings and you'll have it
on your Blackberry.

The fact that it's a year subscription, and there's no google talk are keeping me from Using Verichat. I'll stick to Ramble and eschew google talk when I'm not at the computer right now.

yeah, i use yahoo for my main IM so i need a "multi" IM etc, but so far i'm trying the trial...don't even know how much the subscription is (have to look into it) but that's kind of setting me back as well, it'd be so nice if it was just free (like regular desktop IM's) or at least one-time pay
