8800 Connection issue

Hey Folks,
Odd one for you.
Got an 8800 here, on OS 4.5, with a BIS provisioned SIM, GRPS shows in caps, email and internet and BBM/MSN all work ok, however facebook wont run giving a data conneciton issue.
Checking out the connection status is says that BIS and BES are not connected....
Very strange one. As always Vodafone are rubbish, and I'm stumped.
Any help would be great!!
